St. Mark Village in Palm Harbor, Florida, earned “Best” ratings for independent living, memory care, nursing home and continuing care retirement community in the U.S. News’ Best Senior Living 2023-24 analysis.
Best Senior Living is one of U.S. News’ free, searchable data-driven tools to help consumers make decisions about their future.

About the U.S. News Best Senior Living ratings
In 2023, U.S. News analyzed survey data from more than 250,000 residents and their family members at nearly 4,000 senior living communities nationwide. The top-rated communities for each level of care were rated Best Senior Living in their categories.
According to U.S. News, the ratings were determined by extensively surveying residents and family members of senior living communities that agreed to be evaluated. The survey asked residents and family members about their satisfaction with aspects of the community such as safety, caregiving, management, staff, food and dining, and activities. The ratings recognize communities that excelled at making residents feel safe, well cared for and highly satisfied by the services provided by their communities.
Participation in the survey grew significantly, from roughly 3,000 communities last year to nearly 4,000 communities this year.

The staff has gone above and beyond to insure that residents are safe and well cared for. There were retirement communities that were served PBJ sandwiches and cartons of milk while we here at St. Mark were being served prime rib along with a choice of five other entrees at mealtime.
