Senior Sign is software designed specifically for seniors and families that streamlines the process of signing agreements for, and attaching documents to, your admission packet prior to move-in. It’s easy to navigate, with large font sizes and bright colors. Online prompts guide you through each step.
“We’ve had a very positive response to Senior Sign,” says Tara Jerse, St. Mark Village Marketing and Sales Director. “Prospective senior living residents are saying how easy it is to complete and submit their application. They like the convenience of doing it from home, perhaps with an adult child at their side, or on their own with support from our admissions staff. And they like how easy it is to upload a document rather than send everything via an overnight delivery service or the regular mail.”
Of course, prospective residents can still opt to complete the application process offline if they choose, by completing forms and delivering them to St Mark Village. “Whatever feels best for each person is what is important,” says Tara. “We understand that anything new can seem a bit scary at first,” says Tara. “We just want everyone to know that we can walk you through every step of Senior Sign and complete the process with you if you like.”

You can complete the entire move-in application process for St. Mark Village senior living from the comfort of your home using any type of screen (laptop, desktop computer, smartphone). If needed, out-of-town family members can be online with you at the same time and participate from their location.
- Streamlined process. You no longer have to pull together and scan multi-page documents, make a stack of copies, assemble packets, and either ship them or use regular mail (which can leave your vital information vulnerable).
There also is no more repetitive signing of your name, thanks to the convenient “auto-fill” feature. Everything is updated in real-time, so you can check the status of your application any time you like.
- Full support each step of the way. Online prompts guide you through the process. Or you may call the St. Mark Village admissions staff, and we can walk through the steps with you. You also may come by our office to input data into your packet or review your packet if you choose.
- Comprehensive. If there is additional information you would like St. Mark Village to have before you move in, you can upload it through Senior Sign. For example, a list of medications, name and contact for your health care surrogate, power of attorney, advanced directive, and more.
- Safe & Secure. Information is stored in a locked portal protected by multiple security measures. Submitting information through Senior Sign alleviates worry over documents being lost in the mail or falling into the wrong hands. All information is stored safely and is HIPAA compliant. No data is sold to any third-party.
There is no “wrong” way to do Senior Sign.
“When a prospective resident clicks ‘submit’, the packet comes directly to St. Mark Village—so we can notify you if anything is missing or incorrect,” says Tara. “You then can add or revise information. Some of our prospective residents fill out everything at home, and then come into St. Mark Village to hit the final ‘submit’ button. That works too.”
