St. Mark Village is very excited to announce that our Skilled Nursing Facility has received a 5 STAR RATING! What does that mean you may ask? Well, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) created the Five-Star Quality Rating System to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare skilled nursing centers. This system identifies important questions to ask when choosing a skilled nursing facility for yourself or your loved one. The rating system uses information from health care surveys, quality measures and staffing for example. The results are listed on the CMS “Nursing Home Compare” website at www.medicare.gov/nursinghomecompare. The quality rating system gives each skilled nursing center a rating of between one and five, with five being the highest.
